The unprecedented public outcry of shock, grief and anger following Charlie Kirk's murder clearly shows that the incident is not merely viewed as an attack on a young man’s life, but on conservative values and norms in general.

After years of intense attacks, and at times even domination, by liberal and woke ideologies on steadfast values anchored in the Christian faith, Kirk remained resolute, fearlessly defending his principles in public debate.

The fact that Kirk was murdered in this deplorable manner demonstrates that the enemies of sound and conservative schools of thought have no leg to stand on and have, consequently, resorted to violence.

The Freedom Front Plus (VF Plus) publicly advocates for and upholds these same principles that primarily provide guidelines for peaceful coexistence and good governance.

They are:

•           Respect for tradition and institutions.

•           Individual responsibility and freedom.

•           Limited governance.

•           Free-market economy.

•           Social order and stability.

•           National identity and patriotism.

•           Pragmatism, consensus and sound reasoning.

•           Civility and respectful discourse.

•           Federalism and decentralisation.

•           Merit and equal opportunities.

•           Traditional family values.

•           Respect for the rule of law.

•           Civil liberties and personal freedom.

•           Safety and security, and strong national defence.

•           Cultural conservatism.

The Freedom Front Plus herewith expresses its sincere condolences to Kirk’s wife, Erika, his two children and loved ones.

Any person’s death brings immense sorrow and suffering for those affected.

The party invites all South Africans to work together toward a better South Africa by promoting Kirk’s legacy of peaceful and respectful dialogue in a society firmly founded on freedom, responsibility and stability.
