This past weekend, on a typical hot and humid February afternoon at the coast, a group of Durban-based Jetour customers got together to enjoy authentic Italian food and uninterrupted ocean views at Bel Punto restaurant in Umdloti.
Since first launching in South Africa towards the end of 2024, Jetour has endeavoured to create memorable lifestyle experiences and foster a genuine sense of community among its customers.
From their beginnings at the Oyster Box in Durban, Casalinga in Johannesburg and the Vineyard Hotel in Cape Town, these customer events have grown in size and reach over the past 18 months and are now part of the many unique offerings of the Jetour Owners Club.
Officially launched last May at the inaugural Jetour Festival held in Johannesburg in front of over 3 000 customers and partners, the Jetour Owners Club has a growing list of partnerships with a network of retail, hospitality, and travel brand partners. In addition to offering members invitations to unique experiences, exclusive discounts and tailored deals on merchandise and accessories, the Owner’s Club also offers opportunities and exclusivity through aspirational experiences, tailored for their customers.
For customers in the Western Cape, the Owners Club also offers access to an exclusive Jetour VIP experience at the DHL Stormers’ home ground. As part of Jetour’s three-year vehicle sponsorship, selected Jetour owners and their families are invited to enjoy home games and support the DHL Stormers firsthand.
“More than a year in, it’s incredibly rewarding to see how the Owners Club has grown into a vibrant and engaged community. With new members joining every month, these gatherings have become a meaningful way for our customers to connect, share their journeys and shape the Jetour story together,” says Nic Campbell, Vice President of Jetour South Africa.
These customer days not only create space for owners to connect with one another, but also give the Jetour South Africa team the opportunity to engage directly with customers, get to know them better and gain valuable insights into their ownership experiences in an open and relaxed setting.
Guests at Saturday’s customer lunch at Bel Punto shared their excitement about being part of the Jetour family, compared notes on their favourite features of different models and enjoyed making new connections.
Jetour’s South African lineup offers SUVs to suit a variety of lifestyles. The Jetour T1, launched in October last year, is a compact yet versatile SUV ideal for active individuals or couples, available in four models and priced from R514 900. The T2 is the more rugged option, available in three variants, starting at R569 900. The Jetour Dashing, launched in September 2024 when the brand first entered the market, is a sleek, city-smart five-seater priced from R439 900. For larger families, the seven-seater X70 Plus, also introduced at the original launch, is priced from R454 900.
January 2026 saw Jetour’s strongest sales month to date, with 1 550 vehicles sold. A growing customer base means a growing Jetour community and ever-expanding opportunities to connect, engage and celebrate together.
Interested Jetour owners can sign up by going to the Jetour Owners Club South Africa page on Facebook, fill in your name, Jetour vehicle VIN number and join the ever-growing Jetour family.
