OMODA & JAECOO Sandton Claims Three Dealer Awards

August 2026: DigiCars Group is celebrating another significant achievement in 2026, with OMODA & JAECOO Sandton receiving three major dealer awards in recognition of its performance across sales, finance, brand and marketing.
The dealership was awarded:
Brand & Marketing Dealer of the Year
Bank Finance Dealer of the Year
Volume Dealer of the Year
The latest recognition follows a strong year for OMODA & JAECOO Sandton, which was also recognised at the ABSA Golden Partner Awards earlier in 2026.
Dawood Olgar, Group CEO of DigiCars Group, said the three awards were particularly significant because they recognised performance across different areas of the dealership.
“To be recognised for volume, bank finance, and brand and marketing in the same year speaks to the strength of the entire operation. It’s not about being good in one area, it shows that the team is performing across the business.”
The awards add to a growing list of industry recognition received by DigiCars Group during 2026, as the Group continues to expand its new vehicle operations and strengthen its presence within South Africa’s automotive retail sector.
“We’ve received a number of important awards across DigiCars Group this year, and while we are extremely proud of them, the real recognition belongs to our people,” Olgar added. “Our teams are competitive, ambitious and committed to delivering at a very high level. These results are a reflection of that culture.”
Olgar said the performance of OMODA & JAECOO Sandton also reflects the continued growth and consumer interest surrounding the OMODA and JAECOO brands in South Africa.
“There is tremendous energy around these brands, and our responsibility as a dealer group is to match that with an exceptional retail and ownership experience. The team at Sandton has embraced that opportunity, and these awards are a great acknowledgement of what they have achieved.”
DigiCars Group says it remains focused on maintaining this momentum as it continues its growth strategy throughout 2026 and beyond.
